A Salesforce consultant since 2015, Becka has delivered over 100 projects and implemented Pardot over 50 times. She co-leads the Salesforce Houston User Group & organizes the Houston Salesforce Saturday group monthly meetups.
YOUR WORK:
How did you get started with Salesforce?
Vetforce – not an accidental admin, but very deliberately learned Salesforce to transition from working for a school district to the Salesforce ecosystem.
What’s your favorite thing about building solutions with Salesforce?
Sharing a built-out solution with my client and having them LOVE it.
What energizes you at work?
I like to build and configure – I like planning out Engagement Studio programs in Pardot and love building helpful, time-saving (and pretty) dashboards!
Name a work achievement you’re proud of.
While working a staff aug contract for a large oil and gas company, they named me their Salesforce Lead Designer/Architect – this was a position they never gave to a consultant, so it spoke volumes to the trust they had in me.
YOUR MINDSET:
Who or what inspires you?
Going to events such as Dreamforce and Connections always inspires me – I get to see members of the Salesforce community in person who I don’t normally see, I learn new things, and have great conversations that give me ideas about how to better serve my customers or the groups I lead.
What’s one thing you’re learning now? (professional or personal)
Personal: Struggling to learn toddler-level Italian. Professional: Slowly learning dev concepts for PD1.
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Caring, reliable, relentless

What could we find you doing outside of work? (hobbies and interests)
Cooking, walking my dog, hiking in Colorado, scrapbooking
What’s your go-to karaoke song?
I don’t sing anywhere anyone can hear me, but my favorite alone-in-the-car song is Titanium by Sia & David Guetta.
