CHALLENGES

Dosespot’s e-prescription portal requires a complex onboarding process for new clients. Dosespot had been managing Projects (and their many milestones), resources, and client collaboration on an application called Podio, which also provided an online portal.

Dosespot saw an opportunity to integrate pre-sales, project on-boarding, and post-implementation support into a single platform for their Account and Support Reps, while giving clients a single point of engagement with them throughout the relationship. This plan would retire an additional 3rd party application, streamline data flow, and elevate client experience.

SOLUTIONS

Salesforce’s Lightning Platform provided the foundation for the custom Project Integration Application. This custom app was built to house all the elements of the Project Integration process, including template-based projects that used consistent milestones and files.

When a project is created from a template, Lightning Flow automatically creates the proper Project, files, and associated milestones. Expanding on the existing Salesforce Lightning Community clients were already using for post-implementation support, Projects and their milestones are available in the community, securely exposed based on client.  The client and Dosespot reps can collaborate using the record Chatter feed to share documents and milestone updates.

RESULTS

Rosetree Solutions created a custom application that allowed the 3rd party app to be retired completely, and all new projects and Clients moved over to the Salesforce app and Community.  Dosespot is now able to see connections between clients, projects, and support cases. They are able to track progress, share files, incorporate resources into Knowledge articles, and collaborate with clients in real time.

Projects are easily created using the stored templates. Clients can track the status of their onboarding process through the secure Community. Additionally, the Dosespot community received a fresh branding reboot to better align with their corporate look and desired visual experience.
