GETTING TO KNOW...
Aaron has been architecting & developing web applications for over 17 years, and has been living in the Salesforce ecosystem for the last 4-5 years. Most of his career was spent as a full stack developer/architect, developing fully interactive UIs, writing complex backend processes and managing data and integrations.
How did you get started with Salesforce?
I started out working as a freelance developer, when a friend of mine was looking for help on a Salesforce project he was working on. My experience as a full stack developer helped with a smooth transition into the Salesforce world.
What’s your favorite thing about building solutions with Salesforce?
Not having to maintain servers and worry about whether or not they’re going to crash! The fact that most of the structure is already provided and I only need to focus on providing a solid experience for my clients.
What energizes you at work?
Client satisfaction, teaching/mentoring and sharing what I have learned, figuring cool things out, solving complex problems, learning new things and implementing solid solutions.
Who or what inspires you?
My wife and daughters inspire me to work hard. Technology, tinkering and my desire to understand how things work inspire me to learn new things.
What’s one thing you’re learning now? (professional or personal)
I am constantly learning new things professionally and personally. But if I had to pick one, I would say, learning how to better maintain my lawn.
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Generous, Fun, Laid-back
JUST FOR FUN:
What could we find you doing outside of work? (hobbies and interests)
Going on adventures with my family, bowling, disc golf, tinkering, making music, playing video games and eating good food.
What trend do you hope makes a comeback?
I’m not sure I want to see any trends make a comeback.
What’s your go-to karaoke song?
If I had to choose one, it would be Regulate by Warren G.
Welcome, Aaron! We’re excited to have you as a part of Rosetree!
